To many these days, 9-11 is a day that changed their view of the world. For others it was the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King.
But for a whole generation the day that most impacted them and they world they know was the attack of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 – a day that continues to live in infamy.
It is now 75 years since that attack occurred in a quiet Sunday morning in Hawaii. Many of those who survived and their generation have passed on. But some who lived through it are still alive.
As they gather today – either at the Pearl Harbor Memorial, or more likely, given age, we remember them and the events of that day that still resonate with so many.
