Looks like Spring is almost here.
The days are getting longer. For many it’s hockey playoff time (though the N.H.L. these days does not even start their playoffs until well into April). Most importantly it is maple sugaring time.
This year’s unusually warm winter temperatures have meant an espeically long and robust sugaring season in many places. Climate change has spooked many, but for this year at least, tose producing maple sugar and its derivative products are pleased.
If you’re looking to enjoy a bit of the seasonal bounty and the cultural heritage and traditions that come with, there are many places to be recommended from coast to coast.
If you decide to go, have a sweet trip.
